While unconventional financing can cost you money in the long run, it does allow you to avoid borrowing money as a loan that needs to be paid back… whether or not your business makes a profit. With the alternative financing options presented here - if your business fails, your obligation to pay back the money expires. These alternatives, to heading down to your local bank or credit union for a personal loan, are venture capitalists and so-called “angel” investors. In both instances, you are asking individuals to invest their money in your business in exchange for a share of the profits.

Venture Capitalists
Venture capitalists provide money or capital to all types of start-up businesses but should only be considered if your home business concept is focused around technology and if you had access to better hardware it would allow you to make a bigger profit. Venture capitalists primarily look for businesses that have the potential to grow quickly and are run by an experienced and confident owner or management team.

Approaching a venture capitalist is similar to approaching a bank to ask for a loan, except you need to make a more convincing case. The venture capitalist you meet with will be a specialist in whatever industry you’re planning to enter and they will turn and run faster than they can say hello and goodbye, if you don’t convince them beyond a shadow of a doubt that you know exactly what you are doing. Research any venture capital company before you meet with them. Verify what they are looking for and who their existing clients are.

An important point to remember is that if they ever ask you to pay anything, you are being scammed, so be very wary of anyone who insists that they won’t sign an NDA (non-disclosure agreement or privacy agreement) before they see your idea because they might hand it over to one of the companies they’ve already invested in.

Normally, venture capital funding is very competitive… so be prepared. The ideal situation is to build a solid version of your business on a small scale and then wait for them to come to you. You should also be aware that accepting venture capital funding will give the venture capitalists a significant say in how your company is run. They will try to force you to grow the company as large as possible but they will effectively take over your company. They may help you get rich but not much fun if you’re out to start your own business to get away from the typical corporate way of life.

“Angel” Investors
Angel investors are similar to venture capitalists but on a much smaller scale. They are “real people” who will invest in smaller companies. For a home business, angel investors are a much better idea than venture capitalists.

Angels tend to behave more like a business partner. In many instances, they will invest half the required start-up funds and then take a personal role in the day-to-day running of the business. This contrasts dramatically with venture capitalists which have a tendency to be a more sterile, faceless entity and issue written demands if you’re not making an acceptable profit. In addition to providing financing, most business angels also bring with them knowledge and experience which can be a great asset to your business.

On the other hand, you need to remember that they are in this for one reason and one reason only - to make a big profit. When you build your business with the help of an investing angel you need to be able to show them how you will be able to provide them with twice the money they put in and how soon. This doesn’t necessarily mean that your business needs to grow rapidly, but it does mean that whatever you plan to spend “their money on” needs to be some kind of tool for making a big return over a relatively short period of time.

The Best Alternative - Staying Independent
Of course, the best way to stay completely independent is to avoid accepting any outside investment. However, if you really need the funding, there are still a few ways to take it and still stay relatively independent.

Regardless of the number of investors, make sure you retain control of at least 51% of your business… otherwise it’s no longer your business. Remember, if you have a genuinely solid business plan, then the investors are the ones who should be begging you for the opportunity to invest for such a good return. If you ever feel like you’re entering some kind of big overwhelming system that requires you to play by to many of other people’s rules then don’t. Last but not least, and I must stress that I would only go with this option as a last resort, you might be able to persuade your friends or family to provide the financing. Plus, you’ll get far better terms and less intervention in the daily operation of your business.

Almost everywhere you look these days you can find advertisements for payday loans. And like other financial products, you can usually conclude that the more a product is advertised, the higher the profit margins it provides for the seller.

Pay Day loans come under the guise of a variety of titles including; cash advance loans, check advance loans, quick cash loans, post-dated check loans, and deferred deposit check loans. But no matter what they call it, the product is always essentially the same.

What are Payday Loans

Payday loans are small quantity, short-term, high interest loans. The way they typically work is that the borrower writes a personal check payable to the lender for the amount they desire to borrow plus the “loan fee”. The lending company then gives the borrower the amount of the check minus the “loan fee” in cash. So for example, if you wanted to borrow $100 for two weeks you might write a check for $115 and receive the $100 in cash.

They are targeted towards those individuals who need a small amount of cash for a short period of time. In theory they might be helpful for a family who, for example had an unexpected expense arise this month that they had to pay for right away. This left the family short on funds to keep up with their regular obligations like rent and food. This is the rationale behind the loans and it is the opportunity for individuals to get access to quick cash without the need for extensive credit checks that make the loan, on face value, seem worthwhile.

Why They Are Bad

The problem is in the details. Returning to the example of the person who borrowed $100, let us now imagine that the two weeks are up. And at the end of the term of the loan, the borrower must either “redeem” the check by paying the lender the $115 in cash or roll over the loan for another two weeks. This adds another $15 dollars to the payment meaning that come two weeks later $130 is owed. For those unfamiliar with the lending industry, this may not seem like a bad deal. After all, the lender is taking quite a bit of risk, seeing as he hasn’t even checked your credit, right?

Well, not exactly. The most insidious part of Payday loans is the amount of interest they bear. A yearly home mortgage may be in the vicinity of 8%, while a Credit Card, which by most accounts verges on usury, charges in the vicinity of 30 - 40% in interest annually. But comparing that to a Payday loan, which has an annual interest rate of 400 - 700%, is startling.

A Payday loan is one of the most expensive legal lines of credit that a person can procure. On top of that, unlike a regular loan where if you default you can be hassled for late payments, a Pay Day loan company can by contrast simply deposit the check. When it bounces you will have committed a prosecutable crime that the Payday Company can use as leverage to get you to pay at any cost. In effect, they can threaten you, almost immediately, with criminal proceedings in a way that regular creditors cannot.

So why do Payday loans exist. The cynic would simply say that they exist because the lending industry is a powerful lobby that lines the campaigns of many politicians. And while that is certainly true in part, it is also important to consider that despite their shortcomings, Payday loans may fill a useful niche for a very small portion of the population.

Making the Best of Payday Loans

Those individuals who cannot attain credit cards, have no friends or family to loan then money, and cannot procure an advance from their employer, often have nowhere to turn for a bit of extra cash to fill a very short term need. Under these circumstances, and only under these circumstances, can one find an acceptable use for Payday loans. In these types of situations, it is important for borrowers to carefully examine the conditions of the loan. For while it is essential that borrowers avoid the “rollover-trap” the reality is that some will not. And if you fall into that unfortunate few, it is important that you know the contract you have signed.

Of particular note in the contract is:

-What recourse the lender will take if you fail to pay on time

-What the APR of the loan you are taking is

-What the rollover policy of the lending agency is and,

-What their history with pursuing criminal actions against those that default is

While knowing these things and comparing them with their competitors will not convert the decision to take a Payday loan into a pleasant one, it will help limit the damage of those loans and hopefully eliminate the possibility of you slipping into the rollover-trap that captures so many Payday Loan users.

One of the most basic decisions when it comes to taking out a new loan, is whether to opt of a secured or an unsecured loan. Before we discuss the advantages and disadvantages, you should know that a secured loan means that if you cannot meet the repayments, the lender has access to an agreed security, such as your home or car, to pay off the loan.

This is the huge draw back of secured loans. The asset they are secured over is usually very important to the borrower. For most people, the two most important assets they own, and are least willing to part with, are their home and their car. Your home can act as security whether it is currently mortgaged or not. The size of the loan will also depend on, among various other factors, the value of the asset. For example, if you home is worth £50,000 it is extremely unlikely that a lender will grant you a loan of £60,000. At the same time, just because you have significant assets to secure the loan, does not mean the lender will lend you the full value of the asset. Factors such as your income, your current indebtedness, and your repayment capacity will also be critical.

Secured loans can be used for any purpose, typically debt consolidation or home improvements. However, since the loan is being secured over your home, many short term uses will inappropriate. While borrowing against your home to invest in home improvements may make sense, borrowing against your home in order to buy groceries and pay your day to day bills would not be so appropriate.

Secured loans, as well as being possibly larger than unsecured loans, will also be likely to have better terms and rates. A lender should be more willing to give you a lower interest rate on a secured loan because his risk is less. Should you default on the loan, he can move in on the house, and sell it. He is therefore, virtually guaranteed not to lose the money he lends you. If the loan is unsecured, it is significantly more risky, as should you become bankrupt, he may end up with nothing. While such outcomes are rare, and hopefully will not happen, they are the bread and butter of how interest rates are set.

Lenders will typically be more willing to lend on a secured basis too, for the same reasons. Therefore, if you find that you cannot get unsecured credit, you may try secured credit as a second option.

If you spend more than you earn on a regular basis, it is a bad practice. To overcome this situation, if you opt for a payday loan, it will be a “risky solution”. Payday loan companies often take the advantages of your need and lead you in debt trap.
The most obvious disadvantage of payday loan is High cost. The APR of payday loan varies between 400% to 800%. Think about your investments even on a high interest stock, you can get an annual return of 20% to 30% for investment on a stock although investments on stocks are considered as “high risk”.
So, consider about all the possible alternative ways before opting for a payday loan cash advance.

•Payday loan borrowing situation arises due to bad financial planning. I suggest you to prepare a realistic budget at the beginning of each month in order to keep the balance between your earnings and spending. Avoid unnecessary purchases. Also save some money each and every month. Your savings will be counted at the time of crisis. Consider taking help from a consumer credit counseling bureau.

•Ask your creditors to give you a favor by waiting until your next payday. If you can manage them to do so, you need not to borrow the loan and thus you can save 15-30 USD by not paying the loan interest!

•Use your credit card for making urgent payments. Usually credit card loan’s interest rate is very low; even you have to pay nothing as interest if you repay the loan within a month. Again you save $15-$30 by not paying the loan interest.

•Ask your banker or a credit union for a short-term loan. The costs of these loans are such that you can easily afford.

•Ask your employer to provide you with a portion of your salary as advance so that you can cope up with your emergency bills.

•Consider in borrowing money from your friends or relatives. Actually for a time lag of 1-2 weeks nobody will prefer not to provide you the money (I strongly believe so!) unless you had a bad credit history with him or her. Thus you will meet your money requirements with no interest charges at all! Also think about the harassments if you can’t be able to repay the loan at specific date to the payday lender!!

•Consider in making arrangements with your banker regarding withdrawal facility from your checking A/c in order to protect yourself from making extra charges on bounced checks. This facility costs you as little as $5.Sometimes no fee is needed at all!

•When you shop for credit, check the APR and other official charges of different credit offers. Thus you can avoid higher monthly charges with lower credit cost.
•Many social groups and communities provide urgent assistance either directly or by various social services programmes. For example, I can mention “Federal low income home emergency assistance programme” provides financial assistance to families with lower income.

•There are several loan companies who offer $500 to $100 loan to active in duty & retired military personnel. The APR of these military loans range from 34% to 40% which is 10 to 15 times cheaper than payday loan.

•There are also several Consumer finance companies that provide small consumer loans at a low APR of 60%, which is also cheaper than payday loans.

What are interest-only loans? How are they structured and who are they right for? How do you avoid common mistakes people make when choosing interest-only loans?

Loans with the option of paying only the interest every month are called interest-only loans. These loans allow you to pay on the principal balance only when you want to or when it is convenient for you.

Most interest-only (IO) loans carry this option to pay the interest only for a limited amount of time, usually from 5 to 10 years. The remaining principal balance comes due at the end of the term.

IO loans can be a good choice for borrowers whose incomes tend to fluctuate from month to month.

However, this aspect of IO loans can be a pitfall for borrowers who are not disciplined enough to pay on the principal when they are not required to do so..

Borrowers who expect to see an increase in their income during the term of the loan should consider loans with IO options. First time homebuyers can also benefit from IO loans, if they expect to upgrade from their starter home to a bigger home soon.

Another advantage of interest-only loans is that they require lower initial payments, which means borrowers can qualify for larger loan amounts than loans without interest-only options.

Is your home going to be your top priority investment, or do you want more cash to direct to other investments that offer higher returns? If you invest in stocks or your own business, and interest-only loan might be the right option for you. Just make sure your investments are yielding a higher return than the interest rate on your IO loan.

Are you expecting to resell your home during the term of the IO loan for a profit? Is the market you are looking to buy in rapidly appreciating? If so, an interest-only loan might be the right choice for you.

Interest only loans do carry risks, and borrowers must understand these risks if they are to take advantage of IO options. What if you do not see the increase in income you expected? What if you cannot sell your home later for a profit, or what if the market does not appreciate as much as you expected? What if the market depreciates?

There are dishonest lenders out there, and they often deceive borrowers when it comes to interest-only loans. One common deception is that lenders lead borrowers to believe that the interest rate on an IO loan is lower than the interest rate on loans without an interest-only option. This is not the case. IO loans carry higher risks for the lender, so they always carry higher interest rates.

Dishonest lenders sometimes deceive borrowers into thinking that they can avoid buying mortgage insurance by choosing an interest-only loan. Again, because IO loans are high-risk for the lender, the borrower is always required to carry mortgage insurance.

Comparing different types of loans is the most important step in choosing the best loan for you. Every situation is unique, and understanding how loans are structured will help you make the right decision. Identify your goals, and you will be able to identify the right loan to help you reach them.

Auto lenders each offer unique financing packages. Even if rates are the same for auto loans, differences in terms and restrictions can help you decided between lenders. While you compare interest rates, also look at the fine print to be sure you can buy a car where and when you want.

Ask About APR

Interest rate cost is a huge factor to look at when comparing auto loans. While initial rates can lure you in, be sure to factor in the closing costs and fees. The annual percentage rate (APR) includes the entire cost of the loan. Comparing this number will help you find the lowest costing loan.

Just be sure that you are also comparing the same type of loan. The shorter the loan, the lower the rates. Including a down payment can also improve your rates since it will improve your credit standing.

Budget Your Monthly Payment

Your monthly payment should also be considered when shopping for a car loan. A longer term loan can reduce your monthly payment, even with higher rates. Also, budget the costs of insurance and maintenance for your vehicle.

Lower payments are appealing, but a shorter term loan can save you hundreds, even thousands in interest costs. Take a car loan for $25,000 at 6%. Interest costs tally at $5,677.64 for a seven year loan, but only $3,999.20 for a five year loan. That’s a savings of $1,678.44.

Look For Flexibility In Paying Sellers

Who do you want to purchase your vehicle from - a dealership or a person? Will it be a new or used car? Many lenders want to know your answers to these questions. Some financing offers limit who you can buy from. Others offer a blank check to sign over to whoever you choose.

Before you apply for a loan, make sure you know what type of car you plan to buy. If you are unsure, keep your options open by finding a flexible car loan. While you may find lower rates for purchasing from a dealership, you may also miss out on a deal in the classifieds.

No matter what type of auto lender you pick, apply early for pre-approval. Not only will you find out how much you qualify for, but you can also close quicker on a deal.

“Do you really see yourself as eccentric?” asked my boss incredulously. “Yes.” I replied - “Eccentric means away from the centre, which means that I don’t follow all the other sheep.”

How it Began

————

Probably it all began when I was in my teens and found a book that showed me the easy way to write essays. “Always think what everyone else will write and make your essay as outrageously different as you can.” You can get a free eBook now on the subject from studying-techniques.com

It was such fun being outrageous that it spread to my everyday life. Often the outrageous ideas I thought of made more sense than the conventional thinking.

Soon people started to accept me as an eccentric.

Immediate advantages of being a known eccentric

———————————————–

* You don’t offend people. Everyone shrugs and says “It’s just Ian!”
* You can say “no” whenever you like.
* You no longer have to keep up with the Joneses. You set your own targets.

How being eccentric saves on student loans

——————————————

I had a pushbike instead of a car like all the other students. I didn’t need student loans. I set my own standards. The Joneses didn’t drive me to student loans.

When I needed textbooks I bought them second-hand, but decided for myself if the book was really necessary. After all, if I read the book in the library I wouldn’t have to pay for it, and student loans would be kept at bay.

I’m eccentric - remember? So I don’t have to follow your expensive pastimes. I chose free pastimes. No need for student loans if I keep to free. What’s that? Didn’t I get bored with nothing to do? Far from it! Four times in my life I’ve had so many pastimes that I’ve had to prune the list drastically.

Each Saturday I joined other young folk cycling round the countryside. I usually repaired their punctures, because I had the tools and it cost me next to nothing. I toured England, Scotland and Wales during my holidays with no fuel costs at all for my pushbike, so no student loans were needed.

Sports: Of course I needed some eccentric sports to keep fit, so I took up croquet, fives, table-tennis, 7-mile cross-country running, hill-walking. No need for student loans because it was all free, and so were the games that I played such as chess.

Each evening I had to make time to go out with my date, so had to push through my one-hour harmonium rehearsal, and one-hour violin rehearsal, and do my homework, and play some table-tennis, and read library books, and eat . . .

Fortunately none of that needed a student loan - even my date. Remember, I am eccentric, so my date had to go along with me, or find someone else.

I didn’t need student loans for my furniture. My boss said later that I’d furnished my entire house for less that he paid for his bed. Auction prices were so low that the main cost was in carting the stuff home.

Student union? No I’m eccentric. Horse-racing pool? No I’m eccentric. Join a student protest rally? No I’m eccentric.

Each time students were browbeaten into something expensive because “everyone else is doing it” they didn’t even bother to ask me because I was eccentric. Far from needing student loans, I saved money from my government scholarship. Then I took holiday jobs for extra money.

One day the unemployment officer showed me a job which “nobody will want”. I grabbed it immediately because it sounded different. I was working alone on a farm, 6 miles from my boss and was snowed-up most of the winter so that my boss couldn’t get through to me. It was there that I learned to trap rabbits, skin them, cure them, train dogs, cook, hand-milk cows, make cheese - well what else is there to do when you’re snowed up?

I bumped into the employment officer a couple of months later and he said “You’re not still on that terrible job are you?” I hastened to reassure him that it was great. He must have thought that I was eccentric or something.

Why does being eccentric avoid student loans?
———————————————

* I don’t mind buying seconds or second-hand from the op-shop or Salvation Army.

* Anything free is great.

* I’m not proud. People give me lifts in cars because I’m too eccentric to have one of my own. I used to hitch-hike before it got dangerous. People give me cast-off clothing - well only an eccentric would wear it!

* Naturally I hunted for a scholarship until I found one. Everyone else may have student loans, but I’m eccentric.

* “Everyone else has one” so out comes the credit card. Not me. I’m eccentric. Credit cards can charge more than one fifth of your loan per year, making them the most expensive of student loans.

* Giving gifts needs more student loans. I’m eccentric. Something for 50cents from the Salvation army can make a great gift. Keep buying through the year then wrap up your treasure trove at Christmas and hand deliver to avoid paying postage. Yes - they’ll all know what you’re doing, but “it’s just Ian” and you’re eccentric, remember?

If you are an eccentric like Ian McAllister then you’ll just love to read more about student loans and finances at

Could pay day loans be the answer consumers with low bank accounts have been looking for? Is there any harm in using these services? Aren’t they better than using credit cards or going hungry?

You’ve seen the commercials. Cute characters promise financial prosperity. Happy, professional individuals appear to regularly visit their corner pay day loan shop as proudly as cashing a check at the bank. Customers at the grocery store all recommend pay day loans as the easy solution for a lack of funds.

WHY USE A PAY DAY LOAN?

Some individuals reason that paying a bill with borrowed money is better than receiving bad credit marks because of not paying the bill. This is understandable. However, some financial institutions are willing to make the occasional exception if contacted about the situation. Or there may be a small fee, but not a credit report made.

Using it for groceries or other items? Consider the true cost before making a decision. Compare the cost of using a pay day (or cash advance) loan to the fees charged for taking a cash advance on your own credit card. Can family help? Often those who are forced to use pay day loans are not able to repay the loan by the next pay check and that can lead to a cycle of debt and stress.

WHAT IS THE COST?

Several sources, including a consumer report by the FTC (Federal Trade Commission) and the CFA (Consumer Federation of America) state that the usual APR is between 350 - 650% with some as high as 780%!

A loan of $100 ranges in cost between $15 - $30. If the loan is not repaid by the pay date then it can be renewed with another fee due at each renewal. A loan of $100 can cost $60 in fees after 3 renewals.

WHO BENEFITS?

Based on the warnings issued by federal and consumer organizations it is clear that using pay day loans or cash advances from these businesses can often lead to more debt and problems. Some sites were reported to automatically roll over the loan and only withdraw the renewal fee on the pay date. Other sites surveyed by the CFA required customers to agree in contract to not participate in class action suits or to file for bankruptcy.

For those who are having debt problems it is recommended to seek no- or low-cost credit counseling from a local non-profit organization. These organizations can help with reducing current interest charges and lowering monthly payments. If the problem is budget, you should look to a financial planner who can help you to manage the money you do have and avoid using credit at all.

A payday loan is a quick personal loan without the credit checks of traditional forms of credit. It offers you a quick fix for financial emergencies, but it shouldn’t be used for long term credit. Other forms of financing offer better deals.

Should You Get A Payday Loan?

The answer is “yes” if it will help your situation. Late fees on bills and credit cards can often add up to more than the fees of a cash advance. NSF and merchant fees snowball to outstanding balances. So in cases when the finance fee is less than expected late fee costs, consider taking a payday loan.

There are also cases when the costs are larger than late fees. For example, car repairs can result in a loss of job. In this case, paying the fee is better than losing your income.

Payday Loan Advantages

The chief advantage of payday loans is the fast service. With online lenders, your application can be approved in minutes with cash sitting in your account the next day.

There are no hassles with your credit score as long as you have steady income. With faxless lenders, you don’t even have to worry about finding copies of pay stubs or bank records.

When To Say No

Payday loans aren’t for every credit situation. Large purchases or splurges are better put on a credit card with lower rates. Even better would be to pay cash for such items by saving each month. While interest rates seem small for short periods, they can add up over months.

If you are finding it hard to meet basic expenses, then a better option would to seek help from a credit counselor. They can help you devise a monthly budget and present financial strategies.

Other Credit

Other forms of credit are better suited for large purchases. Credit cards can be approved within days. Some offer introductory low rates or other incentives. A line of credit can also allow you to pay for major expenses with relatively low rates. However, a lender will look at your credit score and other financial factors.

So when considering a payday loan, look at all your options. Payday loans offer quick cash with no credit checks, helpful during emergencies.

It is often seen that as years pass, newer alternatives of older things crop up while the older things fall into oblivion. Secured loans however have withstood competition from a whole range of financial products such as unsecured loans. Unsecured loan lenders tried to deflect borrowers from secured loans by showing them that there home was at increased risk if they took the loan. But, the borrowers who were loyal to secured loans and who knew that secured loan was not as being presented by some others, didn’t move a bit from their choice. Accordingly, secured loans continue to maintain their turf even after years.

Do you know the reason behind borrowers’ insistence to use secured loans? Secured loans help borrowers enjoy a large number of benefits. And borrowers are not ready to give up these benefits by not taking secured loans.

Before going towards the benefits of secured loans, it will be relevant if we discussed about secured loans first. A secured loan is one where amount is lent to the borrower with a pledge that he will repay the loan after a specified period. To give more teeth to the lender, the borrower will have to present certain collateral.

The list of benefits of secured loans to borrowers is endless. Apart from the standard benefits, there are several benefits that will depend on the case particulars. However, we will only talk of the standard benefits of secured loans in this article.

The very first benefit of secured loans is the cheap rate of interest. After mortgage, secured loans charge the lowest rates of interest in the personal finance category. Typical APR on secured loan ranges from 6-25%. Almost all other financial products charge a greater percentage as interest. Many borrowers question the differences between the rates advertised and the actual rates that they have to pay. There may be several reasons for these differences. The rates of interest or APR advertised is the standard rate of interest. However, depending on the value of collateral, borrower’s credit status and several other factors, borrower may not be offered the standard rate. The differences in interest rate may also result because of the delay in accepting the offer. Until borrower accepts offer of loan, interest rate in the entire market changes. The borrower cannot then demand interest on the rate earlier offered.

Another important advantage of secured loans is that borrowers can draw as much of cash as they want. Compare the situation with unsecured loans and you find loan providers cautious in approving loans of higher values. There is always the fear for the non payment of the lent amount. In the case of secured loans, the loan provider is free of any such fears. Thus, borrowers have to just name the figure and the loan is ready.

The discussion about the Benefits of secured loans will be incomplete without taking up the issue of easy availability. All financial products are not as easily available as secured loans. It is because of the relative safety that secured loan deals promise to the lender, that no lender will deny these loans to borrowers. Go to any loan provider and you will find secured loan deals

Secured loans are to be used for a diverse range of personal needs. The benefit of secured loan is that it can be fine-tuned to any use. Whether it is debt consolidation or undertaking improvements in ones home, secured loans work as smoothly as ones own cash. The borrower receives the loan proceeds and it is up to him how he uses them. There is a flexibility of use in secured loans. Lenders do not interrupt in the manner of use of the secured loan.

The benefits of secured loans can be best enjoyed when the borrower has adequately prepared for its amortisation. Would one be able to appreciate the low rates of interest when the asset pledged as collateral is being repossessed by lender? No!
